Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g Brussels sprouts, cleaned, halved
  • 3 Minute Pork Schnitzel (Kasseler Minute Schnitzel)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • ½ cup herb cream cheese
  • ½ cup cream cheese with garlic
  • 50 ml red wine
  • n. B. broth
  • salt and pepper
  • chili powder
  • Nutmeg, grated
  • Cumin powder
  • Coriander powder
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Prepare the Brussels sprouts. Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Cut the smoked pork into short, thin strips. Heat the oil in a pan and brown the meat first, then remove from the pan. Now brown the Brussels sprouts, onion, and garlic. Add the meat. Deglaze with red wine and simmer briefly. Then add the stock and simmer gently for about 15 minutes. Stir in the cream cheese and let it simmer on the hot plate for a while. Season to taste. Oven-baked croquettes go well with this dish.
