Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g smoked pork
- 1 small white cabbage
- 2 carrots
- 1 small kohlrabi
- 1 red bell pepper(s)
- 150 g celery
- 4 potatoes
- 4 tsp broth, clear
- 2 tsp tomato paste
- Salt
- 1 ½ liters of water
Instructions
Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Cook the smoked pork in 1.5 liters of water for about 15 minutes. Clean and chop the vegetables, and add them to the smoked pork. Add the broth, tomato paste, and a pinch of salt. Let it cook for another 20 minutes. Remove the meat, cut it into cubes, and return it to the pot. Stir and serve. My tip: I cut the carrots into long, thin sticks; it looks better on the plate. A feast for the eyes, too.
