Puff pastry snails with cooked ham

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 package of frozen puff pastry (450 g)
  • 5 slices of cooked ham
  • 125 g Creme legere with herbs
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Thaw the puff pastry, rolling it out a little more if necessary. Spread with crème fraîche and season with salt and pepper. Halve the ham and spread it on the puff pastry. Unroll the puff pastry sheets and cut into approximately 2 cm wide slices. Place cut-side down on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (fan oven) for approximately 20 minutes. Tastes hot or cold. It makes a great snack at a buffet, but also delicious with a glass of wine.
