Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 500 g minced beef
- 2 large onions, finely chopped
- 4 stalk(s) Celery, finely chopped
- 150 g bacon, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 400 g tomatoes, peeled (e.g. from a can)
- 300 ml gravy
- 1 red bell pepper(s), diced
- 1 clove(s)
- 1 bay leaf
- ½ tsp oregano
- ½ tsp ground nutmeg
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 40 g butter
- 150 ml red wine, dry
- 1 chili pepper(s), chopped, dried
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes
Heat butter and oil in a pan (preferably a roasting pan). Add onions, celery, bacon, and bell peppers and fry until well browned. Remove from the pan and set aside. Lightly roast the garlic, then add the ground beef and fry everything well. Return the reserved ingredients and simmer for about 10 minutes. Now add all the remaining ingredients and seasonings and simmer with the lid on for about 45 minutes, tasting occasionally and adjusting seasoning if necessary. Serve with spaghetti.
