Chanterelles in sour cream

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g chanterelles
  • 100 g bacon, streaky, smoked, diced
  • 5 juniper berries
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 shot of red wine
  • some salt and pepper
  • some parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

super easy and quick to make

Fry the diced bacon and juniper berries in a pan. Add the onions, garlic, and chanterelles and sauté. Deglaze with a little red wine and the sour cream and let it simmer. Finally, season with salt, pepper, and parsley. Serve with spaetzle or potato dumplings.
