Meatloaf with a twist

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • ½ pepper, yellow
  • ½ red pepper
  • 7 gherkins
  • 1 kg minced meat, pork or mixed
  • 250 g cheese, grated
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • 250 g feta cheese, optional

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Dice the gherkins and bell peppers, mix with the minced meat and cheese, and season with salt and pepper. Pour the mixture into a loaf pan and cook at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 1 hour. Serve with mashed potatoes and mushroom-flavored beans.
