Penne in tuna pesto

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250g penne
  • 1 can of tuna
  • ½ jar green pesto
  • ½ onion(s), red
  • 200 g leaf spinach, frozen or fresh
  • 50 g cheese, e.g. Parmesan
  • salt and pepper
  • olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove(s)

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 23 minutes

easy and fast

Cook the penne in salted water according to the package instructions, remove it from the pan, and set it aside in a colander. Heat plenty of olive oil in a pan. Sauté the whole garlic clove, slightly flattened, and the onions. Add the tuna and spinach and heat gently to thaw any frozen spinach. Then add the pasta and a little more olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Finally, add some cheese to the pan and let it melt for 1 minute.
