sweet and spicy

First, the jalapenos are chopped and blended into a paste with a hand blender. Then, they are placed in a saucepan. The remaining ingredients, except for the gelling sugar, are added, and then everything is reduced over low heat. Just before the desired consistency is reached, the gelling sugar is added to the hot pan and brought to a boil. While still hot, pour everything into a jar and seal. It tastes especially good on grilled meat. Be careful, it’s spicy!
