Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 12 medlars, well ripened
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 stalk(s) cinnamon
- 250 g sugar, brown, crumbly
- 1 liter of schnapps (38% grain spirit)
- n. B. Rum
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Combine all ingredients in a tightly sealed container. Let it steep for at least 6 weeks. Shake gently occasionally. After about 6 weeks, filter through a fine sieve and season with rum. As a liqueur, this is a Viersen rarity.
