Onion sauce with crème fraîche

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 5 onions, red
  • 250 ml vegetable stock
  • ½ tsp sauce thickener, dark
  • 1 cup of crème fraîche, 150 g
  • Oil for frying
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

without flour

Slice the onions into rings, fry them in oil, not allowing them to overcook, until lightly browned. Deglaze with the vegetable stock, stir in the sauce thickener, and finally stir in the crème fraîche and season to taste.
