Yogurt-lemon marinade

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 ml natural yogurt
  • 50 ml oil (lemon oil)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • ½ bunch basil
  • 2 lemons (organic), juice and zest
  • Lemongrass
  • salt and pepper
  • 5 schnitzels

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest period approx. 2 days; Total time approx. 2 days 15 minutes

Peel and roughly chop the onion, wash and finely chop the basil. Combine both with yogurt, lemon oil, and lemon juice, and season with salt, pepper, and lemongrass. Grate in the lemon zest, but you don’t need to use all of it. Marinate the schnitzel (pork, turkey, or chicken) in the mixture and let it marinate in a sealed container for at least two days. Then, ideally, place it on a hot grill.
