Beef strips with zucchini

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g beef
  • ½ tbsp butter
  • 1 shot of oil
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 small zucchini
  • 1 tsp flour
  • n. B. broth
  • 1 tbsp herb cream cheese
  • salt and pepper

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Cut the beef into thin strips and brown them vigorously in butter and oil. Cut the onion into thin wedges, add to the meat, and brown. Halve the zucchini lengthwise, remove the seeds, slice, and add to the meat. Sauté briefly, then sprinkle with flour and sauté while stirring. Deglaze with stock (100-200 ml, depending on how much sauce you want), season generously with salt and pepper, and simmer for about 15 minutes. Stir in the cream cheese, heat through, and adjust seasoning if desired. This dish tastes best fresh and with rice. Fresh chives also go well with it.
