Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 kg garlic
- ½ liter white wine, sweet
- ½ liter vinegar (wine vinegar)
- 2 Pepper
- 2 bay leaves
- 75 g sugar
- n. B. Olive oil to cover
Instructions
Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 1 hour
It’s best to place the garlic cloves in a large bowl of lukewarm water and peel them (this makes it easier). Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan and boil for 3 minutes. Then, cover and let stand for 24 hours. Then boil for another 5 minutes. While hot, pour into prepared jars and cover with olive oil. Then, seal the jars and turn them upside down. Once the garlic is cold, it’s ready to eat.
