Mushroom pan with egg and melted cheese

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g mushrooms (wild or cultivated mushrooms)
  • 2 tbsp butter or margarine
  • 4 eggs
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • 1 garlic clove(s), squeezed
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash the mushrooms and, if necessary, cut them into bite-sized pieces. Dice the onion. Melt the butter or margarine in a pan and sauté the onion until translucent. Add the mushrooms and sauté briefly, season with curry powder and the crushed garlic clove, and simmer for about 5 minutes. Whisk the eggs with pepper, salt, and nutmeg and pour over the mushrooms. Sprinkle with grated cheese and cover, letting it set over low heat for 10-15 minutes. Serve with fried potatoes and a green salad.
