Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g flour
- 20 g yeast
- 375 ml milk
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 pinch of salt
- 200g bacon
- 4 tsp oil
- 4 tbsp syrup (Stroop or light beet syrup)

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Prepare a starter with 2 tablespoons of milk, then add the rest and let it rise for 20 minutes. Fry 1/8 of the bacon and pour 1/8 of the batter over it (best in a small 16 cm Teflon-coated pan). Cook and drizzle with Stroop while still warm. The contrast between the salty bacon and the sweet Stroop makes it so delicious.
