Whole wheat pasta with Bolognese sauce and vegetables

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 750 g whole wheat pasta
  • 1 pack of Knorr Naturally Delicious! Spaghetti Bolognese (seasoning base)
  • 1 large carrot(s)
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 small zucchini
  • 1 some sugar
  • ½ tube(s) tomato paste
  • 500 ml water
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 some salt
  • some pepper
  • some cheese, grated, e.g. Parmesan or Emmental

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

with spice base

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Meanwhile, heat a little butter or oil in a large pan and fry the minced meat until golden brown. Add the finely chopped onion and garlic. Grate the carrots and zucchini and add them to the pan. Stir in the tomato paste, a little sugar, and the seasoning mix, pour in the water, and simmer for about 10 minutes. Just before serving, season the sauce again to taste. Arrange the pasta and sauce on a plate and sprinkle with cheese. The finely grated vegetables make it ideal for children who don’t like to eat vegetables.
