Garlic butter with ketchup or tomato paste

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 tsp, heaped butter or margarine
  • 1 garlic bulb(s)
  • 5 dashes of ketchup or some tomato paste
  • 2 pinches of salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Place the butter in a bowl that can be easily blended. Peel half a garlic bulb and cut into small pieces (you can use more garlic if you like). Mix the pieces with the butter or margarine. Add the ketchup or tomato paste and stir in. Season with salt. Using a hand blender, blend the butter until smooth and blend until the garlic is completely chopped. It’s best to refrigerate the butter again before serving. It’s great for grilling, with mushrooms, meat, or as a spread.
