Fruit liqueur

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1.2 kg of red fruit, e.g. strawberries, cherries, blackberries, fresh and cleaned or frozen
  • 600 g rock sugar, white
  • 1 stalk(s) cinnamon, depending on size
  • 3 carnations
  • 3 bottles of 0.75 liter vodka

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest period approx. 42 days; Total time approx. 42 days 15 minutes

First, fill a large, sealable container with rock candy. Then add the cinnamon and cloves. Then, arrange the fruit on top. Finally, pour in the vodka. This should then stand in a warm place for six weeks, shaking it gently once a day. After six weeks, filter everything and bottle it. The liqueur should be stored in as dark a place as possible until serving. It will develop its full flavor after about a year, but you can of course enjoy it earlier. Tip: You can also divide all the ingredients equally between three 1.4-liter jars; this works perfectly.
