Penne with tomato and corn sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g penne, 3-colored
  • 1 can of corn
  • 250 g tomatoes, pureed
  • 50 g margarine
  • 2 tbsp basil, dried
  • 2 tbsp parsley, dried
  • 1 small garlic clove(s), crushed
  • 1 small onion(s), chopped
  • some salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 22 minutes

Cook the pasta according to the instructions and drain. Melt the margarine in a saucepan and sauté the garlic and onions for about 2 minutes. Add the passata, basil, parsley, and a little salt and pepper, and cook the sauce for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the corn and cooked pasta and stir well. Simmer everything for another 5 minutes, then serve.
