Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g butter, room temperature
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 3 m.-sized eggs
  • 50 g nuts, chopped or ground as desired
  • 300 g flour
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 2 tbsp rum
  • 3 tbsp juice (mandarin juice)
  • 1 small can/mandarin orange(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Beat butter, sugar, and eggs until light and fluffy. Stir in the rum and mandarin orange juice. Combine the flour, baking powder, and nuts and stir in. Fold in the well-drained mandarin oranges. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and smooth it down. Bake at 175°C for about 1 hour.
