Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 jar fish (Bismarck herring)
  • 1 small jar of capers
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 cucumber(s) , (pickles)
  • 1 large apple
  • 5 walnuts
  • ½ jar beetroot
  • 3 potatoes, boiled
  • 1 slice(s) roast, sauerbraten or other roast
  • mayonnaise

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

This recipe comes from a family where my mother worked as a maid in 1955. All ingredients are diced and mixed with mayonnaise. Adjust the amount to taste. Let it sit in the refrigerator for a few hours.
