Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 500 g flour
- 1 cube of yeast
- 1 cup milk, lukewarm
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 egg(s)
- 125 g margarine
- 100 g sugar
- 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 40 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours
Place the flour in a mixing bowl and make a well in the center. Dissolve the yeast in the milk. Pour the yeast mixture into the well. Let the pre-dough rise for about 5 minutes. Add the salt and egg, and spread the margarine onto the floured edge. Mix all ingredients until you have a smooth dough. Form it into a log and divide it into 18 small dumplings. Let it rise again. Mix the sugar and vanilla sugar together, spread both on a baking board, and roll the dumplings in it. Roll the dumplings into logs and tuck the ends together. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 190°C (375°F) convection oven.
