Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 300 g strawberries
- 8 ml orange liqueur
- 1 pinch(s) of pepper
- 1 pinch(s) mint, dried
- 80 g sugar
- ½ lime(s), juice and zest
- 250 g cream cheese or layered cheese
- 50 g sugar
- 3 tbsp cream
- some hazelnut brittle
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes
Hull and wash the strawberries, pat dry, and chop finely. Then mix with approximately 80g of sugar, pepper, mint, orange liqueur, and lime juice, and marinate. Next, mix the cream cheese with 50g of sugar and approximately 3 tablespoons of sweet cream and grated lime zest, if desired. Alternate the marinated strawberries with the cream cheese in glasses or bowls. Top with a layer of cream. Decorate with brittle. The cream should be refrigerated for at least 1-2 hours before serving.
