Simple strawberry cold soup

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g strawberries
  • 100 g sugar
  • 500 ml milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 8 hours; Total time approx. 8 hours 10 minutes

Wash the strawberries (they can be fully ripe, but the soft parts should be trimmed off), remove the stems, and cut into small, bite-sized pieces. Place the pieces in a bowl, add a generous amount of sugar, and then add milk. Let them steep, ideally overnight. The above measurements are approximate, as I always do it by feel.
