Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 eggs, including the yolk
  • 3 tbsp water, warm
  • 1 cup(s) sugar
  • 2 cups semolina
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 3 eggs, of which the egg white
  • ½ liter of milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Whisk the egg yolks, water, and sugar until frothy. Add the semolina and vanilla sugar. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the mixture. Pour into a greased casserole dish and bake at 150°C (convection oven) for 20 minutes. Remove the casserole from the oven and pour over about 1/2 liter of hot milk. Serve with compote.
