Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 apples, juicy
  • 8 slices of toast
  • 80 ml milk
  • 1 packet of vanilla pudding powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 60 g sugar
  • some cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Super delicious main course in autumn and winter

Peel, core, and dice the apples. Dice the toast slices. Combine the milk with the custard powder and add the bread cubes. Mix everything together. Separate the eggs and whisk the egg yolks with sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice until frothy. Then stir in the bread mixture. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold in. Finally, stir in the apples. Pour the mixture into an ovenproof dish and bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for about 40 minutes.
