Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 300 g dried fruits, mixed, cut into pieces depending on size
- 5 dl water
- 225 g flour
- 3 tbsp sugar
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 ½ dl milk
- 6 eggs, fresh and separated
- 2 pinches of salt
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar
- Fat, for the tray
Instructions

Kaiserschmarren from the oven
Bring the dried fruit to a boil with the water and simmer for about 10 minutes. Combine the flour, sugar, and salt and pour in the milk. Stir until a smooth batter forms. Stir the egg yolks into the batter. Beat the egg whites with the salt until stiff peaks and carefully fold into the batter. Pour the batter into the prepared baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes in an oven preheated to 220°C. Tear the Schmarren into pieces using two spatulas and dust with powdered sugar. Warm the compote and serve.
