Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 500 g pasta (spaghetti or other small pasta)
- 1 meat sausage
- ½ jar cucumber(s), sour
- 1 can peas/corn/kidney beans OR:
- 2 bell peppers
- 1 jar Miracle Whip
- ½ jar mayonnaise

Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions. Meanwhile, dice the sausage, pickles, and bell peppers (if using). Place everything in a suitable, sealable salad bowl and add the can of peas/corn/kidney beans. Mix everything together. Drain the pasta and let the water drain well. Add the pasta to the bowl with the prepared ingredients and mix everything together. Now add the jar of Miracle Whip and the mayonnaise and mix everything well. Add more mayonnaise or Miracle Whip if desired. Cover the salad tightly and refrigerate for a few hours (preferably overnight) to cool and marinate. It’s best to take the salad out of the refrigerator one hour before serving, as the flavor is more intense when the salad is at a comfortable temperature. Mix everything together again and serve to your guests. This salad is a great side dish for barbecues. It’s always eaten up really quickly at our barbecues.
