Mushrooms in White Wine Sauce with Rice
The perfect mushrooms in white wine sauce with rice recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 160 g Rice
- 400 g Mushrooms brown
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 1 tsp Dried oregano
- 1 tsp Dried basil
- 150 ml White wine
- 200 ml Vegetable broth
- Salt and pepper
- 3 tbsp Creme fraiche Cheese
- 2 Stems Parsley
- Cook the rice in salted water according to the instructions on the packet. Clean the mushrooms and cut in half or into quarters, depending on the size.
- Heat the oil in a pan, fry the mushrooms in it over a medium heat for about 5 minutes. Dust with flour and season with herbs, salt and pepper and continue to fry briefly.
- Deglaze with white wine and let simmer for 5 minutes. Pour in the vegetable stock, stir in the creme-fraiche and simmer until creamy.
- Arrange rice with mushrooms in white wine sauce on plates, garnish with parsley leaves if you like.
