Mushrooms in White Wine Sauce with Rice

The perfect mushrooms in white wine sauce with rice recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 160 g Rice
  • 400 g Mushrooms brown
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1 tsp Dried basil
  • 150 ml White wine
  • 200 ml Vegetable broth
  • Salt and pepper
  • 3 tbsp Creme fraiche Cheese
  • 2 Stems Parsley
  1. Cook the rice in salted water according to the instructions on the packet. Clean the mushrooms and cut in half or into quarters, depending on the size.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan, fry the mushrooms in it over a medium heat for about 5 minutes. Dust with flour and season with herbs, salt and pepper and continue to fry briefly.
  3. Deglaze with white wine and let simmer for 5 minutes. Pour in the vegetable stock, stir in the creme-fraiche and simmer until creamy.
  4. Arrange rice with mushrooms in white wine sauce on plates, garnish with parsley leaves if you like.
