quick variant for use as a recipe ingredient

Pour the milk into a container. Then add the acid and stir well. After about 10 to 15 minutes, the milk will curdle and become slightly thick. This quick version is a substitute for buttermilk, as it doesn’t set as much. It’s ideal for use as an ingredient in recipes such as buttermilk lemon ice cream. The buttermilk is intended for immediate use. Leftovers should be refrigerated and used as soon as possible.
