Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 500 g carrot(s)
  • 250 ml cream
  • 200 g cheese, grated
  • 100 g ham
  • 1 stock cube
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Peel the carrots and potatoes and slice them thinly. For the sauce, combine 250 ml of cream with 200 g of grated cheese and 100 g of sliced ​​ham. Crumble the stock cube and season well with salt, pepper, a little paprika, and nutmeg. Preheat the pan to medium heat with the lid closed. Add the carrots and potatoes and pour the sauce over them. Simmer everything with the lid closed for 20 minutes, stirring constantly.
