Garlic and lemon chicken

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 chicken legs
  • ½ bulb(s) garlic, peeled, whole
  • 2 lemons, untreated
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

With only 2 ingredients, an ordinary chicken becomes a fine dish

Rinse the chicken thighs and pat dry. Rub them with the marinade made from oil, pepper, salt, and paprika. Slice the lemons—you can remove the seeds if you like—and place them in a baking dish. Place the garlic cloves in the spaces between them. Then simply add the marinated chicken thighs and place them in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for 40-50 minutes. Turn the chicken over once to ensure it cooks thoroughly on both sides. We served it with salad and rice. The liquid that’s left over in the baking dish at the end makes a great sauce.
