Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 8 chicken legs
- 180 g butter
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tsp ginger powder
- 2 tsp turmeric
- 4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 3 tbsp mango chutney

Can also be prepared on the grill
Preheat the oven to 160°C. Score each chicken thigh three times down to the bone. Place the thighs on a baking sheet and roast in the hot oven for 15 minutes. Turn the thighs over after 7 minutes. In the meantime, mix the butter with the remaining ingredients well. Remove the chicken pieces from the oven and generously brush with half of the butter. Return to the oven and bake for another 15 minutes, turning again and brushing with the remaining butter. Serve hot. Tip: If you are cooking the chicken thighs on the hot grill, you don’t need to put them in the oven beforehand. However, you should turn the chicken thighs over frequently.
