Pork Fillet in Tomato Sauce
The perfect pork fillet in tomato sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 Pc. Pork tenderloin
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- Salt pepper
- 1 Can (large) Peeled tomatoes
- 1 Pc. Onion
- 1 Pc. Peeled garlic clove
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tbsp Tomato paste
- 2 tbsp Chopped herbs (basil, oregano, thyme, parsley, sage, rosemary)
- Salt pepper
- For the tomato sauce, dice the onion and squeeze the clove of garlic. Heat olive oil in a saucepan and sauté the onion and garlic in it. Pour in the peeled tomatoes and stir in the tomato paste. Season with salt, pepper and the chopped herbs. Let something boil down.
- In the meantime, cut the pork tenderloin into strips. Heat the olive oil in a pan and sear the meat on all sides. Season with salt and pepper.
- Pass the tomato sauce through a sieve and pour over the roasted pieces of meat. Bring to the boil briefly and season with salt and pepper.
