Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta, e.g. penne, tortellini, spaghetti…
  • 75 g bacon, diced
  • 400 g turkey breast, shredded
  • 4 m.-sized eggs
  • 200 ml cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • e.g. herbs, parsley, oregano, thyme etc., fresh, finely chopped
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • possibly olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

when things need to go quickly

Cook the pasta according to the instructions until al dente. Meanwhile, fry the bacon in a pan, then add the turkey strips and garlic and fry, turning occasionally, until the meat is cooked. If you like, you can also add a little olive oil for searing. Drain the cooked pasta but do not rinse it with water, as it should stay hot. Then whisk the eggs with the cream, season with pepper and salt, and pour over the pasta. Heat gently, stirring constantly, until set. Then fold in the strips and season to taste, adding herbs and spices. Be careful with the salt, as the bacon is already salty. Therefore, only add the final seasoning at the end. Serve immediately while hot.
