Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 steak(s) of turkey or nice turkey schnitzel
  • oil
  • Salt, e.g. Himalayan salt or garlic salt
  • pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet

Working time approx. 2 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 22 minutes

very juicy thanks to low-temperature method

Rinse the meat with cold water and pat dry with kitchen paper. Preheat the oven to 90-100°C fan-assisted oven, insert the oven rack, and place a fat container or plate underneath. Season the meat on both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika. Heat a generous amount of oil in a pan and add the meat to the hot fat. Sear for 2 minutes on each side. I have an induction hob with 9 settings; I leave it on 9 for 1 minute each, then reduce it to 7-8. Then place the meat on the oven rack and leave it in the oven for about 15 minutes. It tastes delicious served with a knob of herb butter on the plate and salad and/or potato wedges.
