- 1 pointed pepper, green
- 1 tbsp salt, more if needed
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp paprika paste
- 2 pinch(s) oregano, dried
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 350 ml water
- n. B. Maggi
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
Chop the potatoes, carrot, and pointed peppers into small pieces and set aside. Cut the sausages (I recommend Öztürk beef sausage from the Turkish restaurant) into not-too-thin slices and fry them in oil in a pot over medium heat. Meanwhile, finely chop the onions, garlic, and tomatoes and add them. After about 30 seconds, add the tomato and pepper paste and fry for about a minute. Add the spices and stir. Add the potatoes, peppers, and carrots, fill with water until the contents are completely covered, and stir again. Season to taste and add salt if necessary. I personally add a few dashes of Maggi. Let it simmer a little longer. Serve with flatbread.
