Sweet American Pancakes

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g wheat flour type 405
  • 300 ml milk, 3.5% fat
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 tbsp, heaped sugar
  • 2 tsp, heaped baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Also for breakfast

Combine the flour, milk, eggs, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda in a bowl and mix well with a hand mixer. Cover the batter and let it rest for at least 15 minutes. Preheat a small, dry frying pan over medium heat. Using a small ladle, add the batter to the pan. As soon as it bubbles, flip the pancake and cook until golden brown. You can cook up to three pancakes at once in a large pan. Stack all the pancakes on a plate and garnish with powdered sugar and maple syrup.
