Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 175 g cream cheese
  • 2 eggs, size M
  • 30 g cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp psyllium husk flour
  • 30 g cane sugar or other sweetener
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • e.g. vanilla
  • n. B. Fat for the waffle iron

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

makes 5 Belgian waffles

Combine cream cheese, cornstarch, sugar, eggs, baking powder, and vanilla. Stir in psyllium husk flour and let it all sit for about 10 to 15 minutes. The batter should remain quite runny. Preheat the waffle iron, grease as needed, and bake the waffles. The waffles will be light and fluffy, so serve and eat quickly. This recipe makes about 5 Belgian waffles, so it’s enough for 2 people at most.
