Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 6 steaks, veal from the leg (approx. 1.5 cm thick)
- 6 slices of Coppa
- 6 sage leaves
- Salt
- Black pepper, freshly ground
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Season the veal steaks with pepper and lightly salt one side (the coppa is also salty), turn them over, and lightly pepper the other side. Fold a slice of coppa in half, place it on a steak, and then add a sage leaf. Secure it with a toothpick. Place the steaks on the grill with the sage leaf facing up. After a short time, turn them over and grill the other side. They taste best when the sage becomes slightly crispy. These little steaks are quick to prepare, quick to grill, and simply delicious.
