Grilled skewers Saltimbocca

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 small veal escalopes
  • salt and pepper
  • 12 sage leaves
  • 4 slices of Parma ham

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Pound the schnitzels very thinly, season sparingly with salt and pepper. Place 3 sage leaves on each schnitzel. Place a slice of Parma ham on each schnitzel. Roll the schnitzels tightly. Place the schnitzel rolls one behind the other and thread 4 shish kebab skewers side by side through all 4 rolls. Then cut between the skewers. Grill over medium heat for about 8 minutes. This also tastes great with minute pork steaks.
