Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 6 bell peppers, yellow, green and red, cut into strips
- 2 beef tomatoes, diced
- 2 onions, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, diced
- 2 tbsp ajvar
- 100 ml vegetable broth, strong
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Thyme
- oregano
- Broth, granulated

Sauté the diced onions and garlic in hot olive oil. Add the tomatoes and bell peppers and sauté for 5 minutes. Pour in 100 ml of strong vegetable broth and add the ajvar. Season to taste, stir, and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes. Stir occasionally. Season again with a little salt or broth granules before serving. I serve this with cevapcici and rice, for example.
