Broccoli cream sauce for spaghetti

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 150 g broccoli, in florets
  • 1 small onion(s), finely chopped
  • 200 g cooked ham, cut into fine strips
  • 250 ml cream
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • some oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Bring the water to a boil. Blanch the broccoli in it for about 3 minutes, then rinse with ice-cold water and drain well. Heat the oil in a saucepan and sauté the onions. Add the ham and broccoli and pour in the cream. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg and bring to a boil briefly. This sauce tastes best with spaghetti.
