Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour, type 550
  • 190 g potatoes, boiled, mashed
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 21 g yeast, fresh
  • 250 ml milk, lukewarm
  • some water
  • n. B. Poppy
  • e.g. sesame
  • n. B. Salt, coarse
  • n. B. Cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 40 minutes

Sift the flour into a bowl. Add the mashed potatoes and salt, make a well in the center, and crumble in the yeast. Mix with a little water and let it rise for 15 minutes. Then add the lukewarm milk, knead everything together, and let it rise for about 10 minutes. Let it rise for a good hour. Then roll the dough into 8 rolls and let them rise for another half hour. Spray with water and sprinkle with garnish as desired. Bake in the oven at 180°C for 20-25 minutes.
