Anise Bundt Cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 6 eggs
  • 330 g sugar
  • 330 g flour
  • 175 ml water, lukewarm
  • 175 ml oil
  • 1 bottle of flavoring (lemon flavor)
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp anise

Separate the eggs. Beat the yolks with sugar, vanilla sugar, and water until frothy. Beat the egg whites with a small pinch of salt until stiff peaks form. Meanwhile, combine the flour and baking powder. When the yolk mixture is nice and frothy, whisk in the oil, lemon flavoring, and aniseed. Then fold in the flour and egg whites alternately. Grease a Bundt pan and fill with the batter. Bake the Bundt pan in a preheated oven at 180°C for 40-45 minutes. You can also use ground aniseed instead of aniseed, but then reduce the amount to half a teaspoon, as ground aniseed has a much more intense flavor.
