Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg asparagus
- 20 slice(s) ham, raw, thin
- 100 g butter
- 100 g cheese (Sbrinz), grated
- Salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Peel the asparagus and boil it in salted water for about 10-15 minutes (do not overcook it!). Wrap each asparagus spear in a thin slice of raw ham and secure with a toothpick. Place the rolls side by side in a buttered gratin dish, sprinkle with grated cheese, top with butter flakes, and bake in the oven at about 180°C (top/bottom heat) until the cheese reaches the desired browning.
