Farmer's rolls

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g Flour Type 405
  • 125 g flour (whole wheat flour)
  • 120 ml milk
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 40 g butter
  • 1 packet of baking powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

makes 6 quick rolls for breakfast

Preheat the oven to 200°C (fan oven). Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Heat the milk to lukewarm and dissolve the butter in it (a microwave works well here). Pour the liquid into the bowl and mix everything into a dough. Knead the dough briefly and place it on a greased baking sheet. Shape it into a rectangle and divide the dough into 12 pieces using the back of a bread knife (this makes the rolls easier to cut after baking). Bake for 15 minutes. The rolls taste best fresh from the oven. Tip: If you want to serve the rolls as a side dish for a barbecue instead of breakfast, you can also mix a crushed garlic clove and finely chopped fresh herbs into the dough.
