Fried trout with almond butter

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 trout(s), ready to cook
  • 2 tbsp, leveled flour
  • 1 tsp, heaped paprika powder
  • 2 tbsp, grated cheese
  • 100 g butter
  • 4 tbsp almonds, sliced

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 hours; Total time approx. 20 hours 10 minutes

Rinse the trout inside and out with cold water and pat dry. Mix the flour with the paprika and cheese. Coat the fish in it, also coating the inside. Melt the butter in a pan and fry the trout over medium heat for 5 to 8 minutes on each side. Remove the fried trout from the pan and place on a preheated platter. Toast the almonds in the butter until light brown and sprinkle over the trout. Serve with small boiled potatoes.
