Corn on the cob with Parmesan basil butter

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 corn cobs
  • 60 g butter
  • 4 tbsp Parmesan, freshly grated
  • 1 tsp sea salt, coarse
  • ½ tsp ground pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic granules
  • 6 basil leaves, finely chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 22 minutes

grilled

Mix all ingredients except the corn on the cob in a bowl. I always use a fork for this. Brush the corn on the cob with the Parmesan and basil butter. This works best with a knife. Grill on the grill at medium heat (170–220°C). Turn frequently; don’t grill one side at once until golden brown, as that area will still receive enough heat from turning. Place the remaining butter close to the grill to melt. When the corn on the cob is golden brown all over, remove it from the grill. Pour the melted butter over the corn and serve.
