Grilled corn on the cob with chili honey butter

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 large corn cobs
  • 100 g butter or margarine
  • ½ chili pepper(s)
  • some honey
  • possibly salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Melt the butter or margarine in a saucepan. Once melted, remove the pan from the heat and mix a little honey into the butter, if desired. Finely chop the chili pepper and add it as well. Caution: If you don’t like it spicy, you can leave it out or simply use less! Season the butter with salt and pepper to taste. Brush the corn on the cobs with the butter. If desired, wrap the cobs in aluminum foil and place them on the grill. The corn on the cobs should be cooked through after 5-10 minutes. Leftover butter can be served on the side.
